Titanium heat exchanger and condenser tube supplier in South Africa
Stage Metals supplies titanium tube and pipe in South Africa to ASTM B338, B861 and B862, in Grades 1, 2, 3, 7, 9, 12 and 16, made to order for condensers, heat exchangers and corrosive process lines. We are the exclusive South African reseller for CSM Group and deliver to your door by sea or air freight.
Titanium is chosen where carbon steel, copper alloys or stainless steel will not survive: seawater and brackish cooling water, chloride-bearing process streams, and the corrosive services found in synfuels plants, refineries, chemical plants and desalination. Stage Metals supplies titanium to Sasol directly and prices it for contractors and OEMs working on power station and petrochemical projects.
Titanium tube and pipe we supply
| Product | Standard | Typical use |

| Seamless titanium tube | ASTM B338 / ASME SB338 | Condensers, heat exchangers, feedwater heaters |
| Seamless titanium pipe | ASTM B861 / ASME SB861 | Process and corrosive service pipework |
| Welded titanium pipe | ASTM B862 / ASME SB862 | Large-bore cooling water and seawater lines |
| Titanium fittings and flanges | ASTM B363, B381 | Completing titanium pipe systems |
Which titanium grade?
Grade 2 is the standard choice for condenser and heat exchanger tube. Grade 12, Grade 7 and Grade 16 are specified where crevice corrosion in hot chloride service is a risk, and Grade 9 where higher strength is needed. Our titanium grade comparison sets out the differences.

Questions buyers ask about titanium tube
Who supplies titanium condenser tube in South Africa?
Stage Metals supplies made-to-order titanium condenser and heat exchanger tube across South Africa as the exclusive South African reseller for CSM Group.
Do you hold titanium tube in stock?
No. Every order is manufactured to the grade, size and length you specify, so there is no compromise on the nearest stock size.
Can titanium be air freighted?
Yes. Titanium is light for its volume, so air freight is often practical when a shutdown date is close. Sea freight is the economical option for planned work.
