About Stage Metals
Stage Metals is a South African supplier of made-to-order heat exchanger tube and special metals, and the exclusive South African reseller for CSM Group, a specialist tube and special metals mill in China. We have been in the industry for 20 years.
Who we are
Stage Metals supplies ASTM A179 carbon steel heat exchanger tube, and titanium, nickel alloy and stainless steel tube, pipe, bar, plate, flanges, fittings and forgings, to power generation, petrochemical, chemical and mining projects across South Africa.
We are the exclusive South African reseller for CSM Group. Every order is placed with the mill and manufactured to the customer’s scope: the grade, standard, size, length and testing the job requires. We do not hold stock and we do not push the nearest off-the-shelf size.
Material ships by sea freight, or by air freight when a shutdown or tender deadline needs it sooner, and is delivered to your door anywhere in South Africa.
Sasol buys from us directly, and we price material for the OEMs, fabricators and contractors who build and maintain Eskom power stations, petrochemical plants and heavy industry. Past customers include Efficient Engineering.

As CSM Group’s exclusive South African reseller we order direct from the manufacturer, with no stockist or trader in between, which keeps the price competitive when a tender is decided on cost.
Sea or air, to your door
Sea freight for planned work, air freight when the deadline is tight. Either way the material is delivered to your workshop or site anywhere in South Africa.
