Overview
Titanium is the material of choice where copper alloy or stainless steel tubes fail early: seawater and brackish cooling water, chlorides, oxidising acids and wet chlorine. It combines high specific strength with excellent corrosion resistance, good cryogenic properties, low thermal conductivity and no magnetism.
Our tube and pipe is manufactured by CSM Group, which produces around 3,000 tons of seamless titanium tube and pipe a year. Every order goes through chemical analysis, air pressure, eddy current and ultrasonic testing, plus tensile, flaring and flattening tests to the applicable standard.
